This report displays item stock levels and details any change in level during the selected date range.
Accessing The Inventory Movement Report
- Go to the RxWorks Task Panel.
- Select ‘Reports’ from the “toolbar”.
- Select ‘C: Price Lists & Inventory Control’
- Click on ‘Inventory Movement’ under ‘4. Inventory Movement, Usage and Purchase Statistics’.
The window shown above will appear.
About the Report
Notice the report displays each item, the corresponding code, the opening stock level, any sales and purchasing during the selected period, profit made from each item, any adjustments made and the closing stock level. Each section is detailed with the number of items moved, the price and the total amount.
When To Run This Report
Run this report whenever you need to view your inventory levels and track how they have changed over time. It’s also useful for viewing sales and profit figures for each item.
The Report Window
This is the time period for which inventory changes will be summarised. You can select a common Date Range from the upper most drop-down box, such as ‘This Week’, ‘This Month’, ‘Last Account Period’, etc. When a Date Range is selected, the two dates below (start date & end date) will adjust accordingly. You can also set the start & end date fields manually.
Restrictions – Your Options
Restrict To Category
Allows you to restrict the report to only display items in the selected income group.
Restrict To Service
Allows you to restrict the report to only display items related to the selected service.
Only Show Items With Sales Greater Than
Allows you to restrict the report to only display items with a sales volume greater than the amount entered.
Show Totals At Category Level
Modifies the report to show the stock levels and movement at the category level instead of showing each individual inventory items.
Include Deactivated Items
If this is checked items that have been flagged as deactivated will be included in the report.
The report will show inventory movement for the selected clinic location.
This opens the report in a preview window, from which you can review it, then save and/or print it.
This sends the report directly to the printer without previewing first.
This opens the report in Microsoft Excel as a spreadsheet.
This allows you to export the data from the account run to a number of file formats. You can export to the following file type formats:
This opens the report in a PDF viewer. You will need to have PDF viewer software like Adobe Acrobat or Foxit Reader installed to be able to view the file.
This opens a dialog in which you can change the page style of the report.
This returns you to the Reports main menu without creating a report.
